Corporación Infarmasa is a company that was born from the strategic union of two large pharmaceutical companies operating in Peru: Laboratorios Magma and Instituto Sanitas SPSA. 

At the beginning of the 1940s, Instituto Sanitas SPSA a company that is now part of the pharmacological history of the country was founded. Its industrial plant had over 20,000 square meters and would become the pharmaceutical industry best installed in Latin America. 

Furthermore Sanitas has had a prominent role in research and dissemination of the developments in human medicine. 

In 1946 Laboratorios Magma and the Instituto Químico Biológico S.A (BIOSA) were founded. In the beginning, the former was devoted to the manufacture of pharmaceutical products, while BIOSA, was devoted to the manufacture of organic products. Following the merger of the two companies, Laboratorios Magma installed a plant to manufacture penicillinic products that is considered up today as one of the leading industries in the antibiotics market. 

Years later, in 1953, one of the leading European laboratories, Farmitalia Carlo Erba began its operations in Peru. In 1975 installed a plant to manufacture pharmaceutical products, giving rise to the Instituto Farmacéutico Peruano (IFARPE).

IFARPE, was acquired in 1991, giving rise to Grupo Infarmasa. together with Magma Group and Sanitas Infarmasa. 

Thus Corporación Infarmasa was founded in 1997 on one of the largest pharmaceutical infrastructure nationwide, equipped with the most modern developments in the pharmaceutical industry. With two plants, one in the district of Miraflores, for the development of penicillinic products and the other in the district of Ate, for the development of non-penicillinic products, thus avoiding any risk of cross contamination and complying with international standards of Good Manufacturing Practices.

After establishing Corporación Infarmasa a division the Linea Comercial LCG (LGG Business Line) was created to offer generic medications to the market. 

Always at the forefront and according to the demands of the market in 2008, Corporación Infarmasa launched its new line ANNEXA "The link between your health and your economy."
